Situated in the Linyanti Reserve Swamp System in Botswana, DumaTau Camp is hidden under a canopy of mangosteen trees over-looking a lagoon filled with hippos.
And if that isn’t enough to fuel your safari spirit, here’s more. Made up of 10 tented units, raised on platforms, the camp is an oasis waiting to be discovered. Each of the tents feature comforts like en-suite facilities and an outside shower, which I loved during the heat-filled days.
Tents are very spacious, which make them perfect for a group of adventure-seeking friends, or a couple looking to celebrate their romance.
The dining and lounging area are located in the camp’s main building and can’t be more luxurious with the amazing surrounds as a backdrop to enjoy a cocktail or a bite to eat to.
Game viewing here is the main attraction, so get your cameras ready.
Expect to snap away at everything from zebra and giraffe to warthog and vervet monkeys. Trust me, this is where your love for the mother continent begins…
